Marcio Wantroba

Marcio Wantroba lives and works in Curitiba.

An artist with an interdisciplinary background, he studied Philosophy, Literature and Visual Arts, and specialized in Advertising Creation and Education. The exercise of reflection and the continuous search for learning and discoveries translate into a variety of techniques.  and languages in their works,  which always invite interpretations and “introspections”.

His studies and work with painting intensified especially from the 2000s onwards, under the guidance of Paraná masters Uiara Bartira and Ronald Simon.

As a painter, he has participated in several art collectives, such as the Zagut Gallery in Rio de Janeiro and, in Curitiba, MuMA – Municipal Museum of Art, Alfredo Andersen Museum, Expoarte – Sindafep, Curitiba Contemporary Art Fair – Art Invest, UMA – University Mostra Arte, Galeria e Atelier Solar do Rosário, among others. In recent years, he has begun to delve into photography, especially authorial photography, and is currently pursuing a specialization.  in professional photography.
