Marcelus Freschet

In my research I use lines, shadows resulting from several layers of paint and wash, pure geometric shapes, textures and cold colors to document and generate emotions. The work itself is responsible for dialoguing with the observer, bringing with it the poetics of my work. My means are Acrylic Paint and Photographs on Canvas, Linen and Methacrylate supports. I have great admiration for the work of Josef Albers, Renata Tassinari, Mira Schendel and Germana Monte_Mor.
