André Baía

André Baía, born in São Paulo and based in Curitiba, holds a degree in Social Communication and studied at the Parque Lage School of Visual Arts in Rio de Janeiro. He has held two solo exhibitions and participated in national and international group exhibitions. The exploration of the pictorial universe is the core of his research, with the aim of reflecting on semiotic issues within visual culture.
